Hello! I’m Jennifer and I would love to work with you, whether it is virtually or in person. I remember what it was like to have so many questions and doubts. So much hard work has gone into making my childbirth classes the absolute best to be found. You will graduate from my course confident in your ability to make informed decisions throughout your pregnancy, labor, birth and early parenting journey!
Mamas and their partners taking my class not only gain important information for a healthy pregnancy but also learn effective comfort measures and coping strategies for labor. Unlike many other birth classes that separate Infant Care and Breastfeeding Basics I believe they are essential skills and so they are included in my childbirth class curriculum.
When you take your childbirth classes with me you will get the benefits of all of the years of experience that I have been collecting for essentially my whole life. Because my mother was a neonatal nurse and an IBCLC I grew up in the birth world. I also have over a decade of teaching experience as a public high school French teacher. Once I had children of my own I knew that I could no longer ignore the calling to educate new parents. It would be an honor to be there for you as guidance and support. Lamaze’s values and the emphasis that they place on important social matters in perinatal health resonate through my purpose and teachings.
I highly recommend Jennifer for classes! I procrastinated and didn’t decide until the final few weeks of my pregnancy to take them. Jennifer was very flexible and accommodating to our schedule to make sure we were able to attend classes. She also helped us out by letting us pay on a schedule that worked for us while times were tough. As first time parents, her knowledge was extremely helpful and her support was just what we needed. She cares very much in helping make sure people are educated and feel more confident in what they want out of their childbirth.
I so appreciated your affirmation cards during birth. My partner also referenced and used the questioning method that you gave us a few KEY times during the birth process and voiced being so happy that he was equipped with that skill. You truly helped us to enter this process with so much more knowledge and readiness, Jennifer! Thank you so much! Thank you for your incredible gift of time, extreme care and love!
I would most definitely recommend coming here for any birth questions you may have. I started talking to Jennifer a little bit further into my pregnancy, but I still got so much help and a ton of information I needed. The doctors would see me as a young mom, that they could push around. And Jennifer helped me to find my voice and know my rights. I Had really bad preeclampsia and she was able to help me voice my concerns with the doctor, who just wanted to ignore it. I was then admitted to the hospital was there roughly 2 weeks and had her at 34 weeks pregnant. I strongly recommend Artio Birth care as the place to go. You won’t be disappointed, you’ll be able to ask all the questions. learn new things about pregnancy, and you’ll be heard.
